STUDIOHOUSE is an intimate experience. Artists should be prepared for a shared environment that can still offer solitude when desired.
Up to 2 residents per floor live on the top 3 floors, sharing a bathroom, kitchen and balcony. Each resident has their own private bedroom approx. 350 - 500 sq ft. Artists are responsible for maintaining clean and organized living conditions.
There's a large dinning room on the top floor where community meals and house meetings take place irregularly. There are laundry rooms, bathrooms and kitchens on each floor. Kitchens are small, and cooking / storage space is limited.

STUDIOHOUSE is a space to rest, reflect, restore and commune. Each artists' time is their own, with group activities scheduled monthly.
Artists are empowered to develop programming that can benefit the community. These activities can take the form of workshops, artist talks, studio visits or co-working sessions. Public programming is hosted on different floors of the house monthly.
Guests visits are optional opportunities to engage with Baltimore's creative sector, and not a requirement of the residency. STUDIOHOUSE is a space for artists to be as they need to be.
